Who we are

The Pompei Horse Club Equestrian Center is a F.I.S.E affiliated center dedicated to English riding with a particular focus on the Olympic discipline of show jumping. It was founded in 1991 by a group of parents and equestrian enthusiasts, including Mr. Gaetano Palomba, driven by their desire to raise and nurture their children in a healthy environment and to create a meeting place and community that promotes equestrian culture. Surpassing expectations and set goals through rigorous sports training and consistent, serious commitment. Over the years, many of the center’s students have achieved outstanding competitive results, including victories in regional championships, podium finishes in national championships, podium finishes in the Team Championships at Piazza di Siena, podium finishes at Fieracavalli Verona in the Pony Regional Cup, victory in the first stage of the Italian Champion’s Tour, and victory at the 2023 Pony Show Jumping World Championships in La Motte, France.

Many of these students now work in the equestrian world with excellent results. The uniqueness of this club lies in the fact that, despite the high competitive level of the young riders who have made the history of the center (some of whom are part of the current staff), the spirit of teamwork and fraternal friendship has always prevailed among them. The daily management of the riding school is therefore the result of a deep and long-standing passion for a magnificent animal. The young staff members, although still young, have worked hard and traveled throughout Europe in pursuit of their dream of learning this difficult but amazing profession.
