Different types of courses
Basic and advanced courses
With us you can have optimal training and compete at a competitive level, but not only that. We also offer our customers basic level courses for the first approaches to horse riding. For several years now, the Pompeii riding school has been producing show jumping experts. After a trial lesson, in order to continue the equestrian activity, it will be necessary to sign the F.I.S.E. (Italian Equestrian Sports Federation) license issued by the center itself. In this regard, we present three different types of courses.

For those approaching horses for the first time
Basic course
Aimed at all those who are approaching horses for the first time. Anyone who is eight years of age or older and has a medical certificate of good health can enroll. The purpose of the course is to approach the basic gaits of the horse: walk, trot and gallop. Priority attention is paid to teaching horse care: nutrition, cleaning, clothing and preparation of a good bed. We meet periodically to take care of the horses and harnesses, as those who take care of horses in all the stables in the world do every day.

Aimed at children aged 3 to 16
Pony Course
Aimed at all children from 3 to 16 years old. The purpose of the course is the approach and knowledge of the pony. During the course, children will learn how to approach the pony, how to take care of it and all its characteristics. Furthermore, through team play, they will learn to ride it safely. Great attention is paid to the psychological aspect of the child as well as the motor aspect, which will be improved thanks to a series of exercises and activities.

Competitors course
The course is divided into two levels:
The 1st level is dedicated to students who own horses and are already experienced in competitive sports.
The 2nd level is dedicated to students who are starting out in competitive activity and have a first approach to horse riding competitions. The center also offers:
– private lessons;
– introductory and specialization courses in show jumping;
– preparation for national and international competitions.
Other services
FISE license release
The licenses are issued by FISE (Italian Equestrian Sports Federation) through our club depending on the level of preparation of the rider and depending on the level of preparation, they allow participation in competitions organized by the committees adhering to the federation.
Scuderisation
The riding school has 52 large and comfortable boxes, cleaned daily by expert and qualified stablemen. Each stable also has a tack room with the appropriate spaces to conveniently store your saddles, headstalls, blankets and much more. The Equestrian Center also provides qualified professionals with whom it collaborates, to take care of the horses in every aspect.
Consulting and sales
The Pompei Horse Club Equestrian Center undertakes, upon request, to find horses and foals that suit the rider’s needs in the large network of Italian and foreign dealers; offering professional and attentive advice.
Dome and foal training
There are experts in Taming and training who will lead your colt towards sporting maturity through constant and qualified work. The riders are prepared for the classic circuit, combining great seriousness with the identification of individual training programs. The effectiveness of the techniques is guaranteed by the professional training of the staff carried out in first-rate international stables and proven by previous results.
