Founder of Ali di Mercurio, Vincenzo Mercurio is a wine consultant who works with a method that respects the vine, the territory and the people who animate it. He loves traveling across the country to meet ever new faces, stories and vines.
Campania, Lazio, Basilicata, Calabria, Molise, Tuscany, Sardinia, Puglia, Umbria, Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia are the territories in which he travels most frequently.
There are many wines for which he lends his nose and his method, all different from each other, in which no olfactory or gustatory connection emerges, other than a “non-style” style, as they are fully representative of the grape variety, the territory and of the producers who create it.
Committed to the historical recovery of many endangered vines, he believes that Italy has an ampelographic heritage that still reserves many opportunities.
His vision
Involved in important heroic viticulture projects, he is constantly looking for new methods to increase the eco-sustainability of the vineyard and wine. A convinced supporter of organic living, he participates in round tables and seminars aimed at providing practical tools to operators, to be able to live organic as a philosophy of life and not as a sterile operational protocol.
His consultancy was experienced alongside the producer, sharing with him the fundamental moments for the birth of a great wine.
A path that begins in the vineyard and then continues in the cellar.
